These Days

I just finished watching an American Series—Gossip Girl. I really like this fantastic show. Beautiful girls, handsome boys, fashionable dresses, complicated polts. It seems that the show holds all the features of a facinating drama. The drama takes its place in upper east side of Manhattan, where nearly the most wealthy guys of America live. The play just presents the lives of those Senior High students in this district—of course, they are wealthy—full of parties, fashion, drug and sex. I really can’t imagine that’s the life of a Senior High student. But it is. To some extent, the drama changes my attitude towards love and sex. Also, those couples in the show makes me a little bit upset—somehow I wanna have a date with a girl as beautiful as Serena. Just kidding.

Another scene in the play really impresses me. They are busy with SAT test and they are struggling with it because of the words. This reminds me the GRE test I’ve just taken. Actually, those Americans hate reciting words too and when facing the test, they are just as mad as we are. This provides me a lot of confidence that I just passed the test which is a headache of Americans as well.

Tomorrow, June 7th. GRE, iBT, Entrance Examination for College, they all take place tomorrow. When I see them struggling with their Red Bible, I can still easily remember the days when I was preparing with GRE. That would be the most impressive days in my College life and they must be the most significant. Those days have left, leaving me only doing nothing just surfing online. I hate myself now for just idling. But I really don’t wanna do anything. Gosh, I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Maybe because the exams are coming, I may do something next week—at least, prepare for three essays for three subjects.
